U.S. Presidents is an itinerant art exhibit that travelled to public schools and public libraries in Colorado during 2014-2015 where I painted a few of the most influential presidents of the United States with the sole purpose of getting kids closer to art through history and vice versa. The result and impact not only in kids but also in adults has been outstanding, opening way for discussions about both art and history. That was the point and we all got it.
U. S. Presidents traveled at the Belmar Public Library, Deane Elementary School, East High School, Lincoln High School, Eloise May Public Library, Alameda International High School, Kepner Middle School, Emily Griffith School, and Smoky Hill Public Library.
Although the exhibit is over, it is still available for any public school or library that would like to host it for one month. Anyone interested should contact the artist for details.
