I love birds. Birds are, among many things, a metaphor for humanity. Their freedom, their flight, their song. Ancient cultures believed they were spirit carriers. Scores of literatures have been written about birds and their important role in our ecosystem. I was suddenly interested in large birds, birds that carried time with them. Prehistoric looking birds such as the Shoebill, the Cassowary and storks are a few examples and some personal favorites. I hope you enjoy!
